In todays session I have noticed a number of differences within my coaching style. In England I deliver a number of coaching sessions on a regular basis and I immediately noticed some differences in this mornings session.  The first difference was that I was not as confident as I usually am, for example there were about five girls who were reluctant to participate and I would usually react to this immediately and encourage them to participate within the game, however I did not know how to react. I think that is this due to the language barrier; because my Italian is not very good and any Italian I do know I am not confident enough to use it. So as a personal goal for the next few days, I am aiming to get involved straight away and become familiar with the language barrier, this will hopefully make it easier for the rest of the coaching sessions. If I am to overcome this issue within the first few sessions, I am hoping to improve other weaknesses of my coaching ability, and as a result improve my overall performance as a coach.
